KWK #10 took place on the Forbes Street balcony, which confidently holds its title as one of the best views in Sydney, now made even better with the new umbrella.

We were joined by Deb, visiting from White River for Christmas, giving KWK a strong international pull. Alicia was off on her annual fast‑packing adventure but kept the group updated through the messages.

We moved through a fun 2025 wrap‑up, covering the year’s highlights, athletic efforts, and a few whisky discoveries. 

Loch shared his recent advocacy wins around tax debt and navigating tax loopholes, with Martine and Laura adding thoughtful advice as expected.

We checked out Steve and Martine’s garden sign, which continues to be a small but appreciated landmark, and caught up on Michal’s Kosciuszko adventure, including a special Kosci100 whisky edition.

Christmas plans were shared, the weather cooperated, and the balcony once again proved to be the perfect spot for an easy, enjoyable catch‑up.

To round things off, the next KWK is already locked in: Australia Day long weekend at the Kepplegate – a strong start to 2026.
